The real magical places in a drawing are the edges. The places where the lines and shapes meet. It is a conversation of space, of light and dark and of open and closed. A successful page is one where I get lost in that dance of line and space. With this page I can see the pieces of pattern that will begin the next page.

I've become more aware of edges with watercolor, since you have hard, soft and lost & found edges. I think you have them in drawing, too, though there isn't as much focus on them, and I think there should be. I definitely notice all three in your work.
