New Pen

The pleasures for me are simple and one of them is a new pen. I emptied a tin full of change to get this one after winning the first one in a drawing contest. I now am the happy owner of two Twsbi pens. The amber is a med. nib and the clear is EF. They are a joy to write and draw with. If you are thinking of getting a new fountain pen look at the Twsbi 540.

  1. Wonderful artwork!

Is the extra-fine scratchy? I've got the other size nibs in various brands, but would like an extra-fine. I wanted to try something different, so this might be the one.

  2. Coool! We are samers!! Sorta... I just caved and ended up getting the amber + EF and the clear + 1.1. The 1.1 is DELICIOUS, slightly springy, and juicy. My EF worked straight outta packaging - no tweaks necessary. I'm so glad I took the chance on them! Outstanding drawings, by the way :D

  4. I was and I did! And I love my new pen. Thanks for your tip. After reading it, I did some more research and am a happy owner of a TWSBI540. The bad news is, my "stuff" doesn't look like your art.
