Is this the same tree from your previous post, 'Idle'? If so, then that only makes the theme and your motto 'silent growth from one small line' even more resonant. Your meticulous mine work builds into a vague grey tone which would be well served by a few areas of much darker and much lighter tones to create a more pleasing range. Really nice work though, thanks for posting.
